My name is Chris Burkey, I am 36 years old and live on the tiny island of Ambergris Caye in the Central American nation of Belize. I am married and have four Belizean-American children. I was born and raised in upsate New York, Saratoga Springs, and moved to Belize in 1988 for a year. I returned on my own in 1989 via a dump truck from Chicago. To say the least it has been an amazing journey.
